Layer: Bullitt Buildings (ID: 4)

Name: Bullitt Buildings

Display Field: BG_DATE

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: The BG Theme represents building structures. Roofline boundaries of manmade structures identifiable from aerial photography. A building is a manmade structure which may be habitable by human beings, animals or which stores materials and is at a minimum 10’ x 10’ in roof top area. A building may house a variety of activities at one time, orsequentially over its life. A building may also sit vacant, be in a partial state of destruction, or construction. A feature classified as a silo, tank or water tower will show the outline of the features. The Otter Creek layers use the Horizontal 1983 North American Datum, Kentucky State Plane North Zone. Note: The Otter Creek Park area actually lies in the extent of the Horizontal Kentucky South Zone but if it was used it would not be directly relational to the Jefferson County Mapping. For those who need the data in the KY State Plane South Zone, it will be required by the user to make a copy of the Otter Creek Data on their local hard drive and perform a projection change. ESRI offers an ArcView extension to perform this operation.
